The Child and Youth Support Program introduces education and early intervention for children and youth who witness and/or are victims of violence.
Child and youth support program

For younger children, this includes daily programming that enriches the learning experience through play, sensory, and art programs.
The older children are encouraged to participate in maintaining a healthy body and a positive way of processing their feelings. There is also an introduction to healthy relationships, as well as basic life skills programs to encourage self-growth and increase self-esteem.
The support worker also provides parenting programs to empower mothers and help educate on childhood development, behavior intervention, as well as assertiveness parenting. Programs are tailored to each child, youth and mother’s personal needs.
