The Child and Youth Support Program commits to introducing education and early intervention for children and youth who witness and/or are victims of violence.

For younger children, this includes daily programming that enriches the learning experience through play, sensory and art programs.

The older children are encouraged to participate in a healthy body, feelings, and introduction to a healthy relationship as well as basic life skills programs to encourage self-growth and increase self-esteem.

The support worker also provides parenting programs to empower mothers and help educate on childhood development, behavior intervention as well as assertiveness parenting. Programs are tailored to each child, youth and mother’s personal needs.
