The Child and Youth Support program commits to introducing education and early intervention for children and youth victims of violence. This includes daily programming that enriches the learning experience through play, sensory and art programs for younger children. The older children are encouraged to participate in a healthy body, feelings, and introduction to a healthy relationship as well as basic life skills programs to encourage self-growth and increase self-esteem. The support worker also provides parenting programs to empower mothers and help educate on childhood development, behavior intervention as well assertiveness parenting. Programs are tailored to each child and youth’s personal needs.
